Baltic Caraway is a vertically integrated cooperative offering quality caraway seeds and a variety of services to customers. It is a family business with its’ roots spanning the middle of last century, started by Antanas Gaučys, a grandfather of current CEO Vygandas Kumpys. The new generation, given the know-how and priceless experience, continue the tradition employing state-of-the-art technological solutions and modern management approaches.

The outcome of long-term work is a modern processing plant and a network of farms, based on trust and partnership.

2015 Modernization of seed cleaning and processing lines completed.
2016 Cleaning line expanded, performance boosted.
2017 Modernization of production facilities and food safety management system projects initiated.
Although the product has not yet been officially certified in accordance with international IFS and FSSC22000 Food Safety Management Standards, Baltic Caraway has been following the respective practices for a while. Official accreditation pending.
